Barbara Stanwyck–so very good at playing bad. She was one of the greats, wasn’t she?

She really was. I’m doing a review of “Double Indemnity” in May and she was remarkable in that film, too. Apparently in real life she was well-liked and well-respected as both a person and an actress, and knowing that, for me, makes her performances that much more enjoyable to watch.

I’m with you there, and his character in this movie is so damn appealing.

I’ll see what I can find. The next few weeks will be dedicated mostly to holiday movies, but that should give me time to research some of his other films. Thanks for your interest!!
